10 Things to Check Before Using a Men's Relaxation Coupon in Japan

Do not choose a coupon by the discount amount alone
Men's relaxation coupons in Japan may be limited to first-time customers, returning customers, selected courses or specific booking periods. A large discount displayed online does not necessarily apply to your reservation.
Before confirming, check your eligibility, the eligible course, how to claim the coupon and all additional fees. Fleeting Heaven covers only general relaxation, beauty and grooming services.
1. Customer eligibility
A “first-time customer” coupon is usually intended for someone who has never used that business. A previous visit to an affiliated location or a booking made through another platform may affect eligibility.
A returning-customer coupon may require a previous visit within a certain period or a nomination of a particular staff member. Ask the salon if you are not sure whether you qualify.
2. Eligible courses
A coupon may not apply to every service. It can be limited by course length, treatment, staff member or service type.
- Courses of 60 minutes or longer only
- A specifically named course only
- A new nomination or selected staff member only
- In-salon or outcall service only
Make sure the coupon name matches the course you want to book.
3. Eligible days and times
Some discounts are valid only during weekday daytime hours, on selected days or for appointments booked before a stated reception time. Public holidays and busy periods may be excluded.
Check both the appointment date and the starting time.
4. How to claim the coupon
The salon may require you to mention the coupon when booking, select it in the reservation form or show the coupon screen at reception.
It may be too late to request the discount after arrival. For a phone booking, clearly state the coupon name. For an online booking, check the coupon selection and notes fields before submitting.
5. Combining discounts
A coupon may not be combined with a first-visit discount, membership price, points or another campaign. More than one promotion will not necessarily be applied automatically.
If several discounts appear available, ask which one results in the lowest final amount for your selected course.
6. Additional fees not covered
Even when the base course is discounted, the following charges may remain at their normal price:
- Staff nomination fee
- Transportation or outcall fee
- Late-night or early-morning fee
- Extension fee
- Optional menu charge
Confirm the final amount payable on the day, not only the discounted course price.
7. Expiration date
A coupon may use either the booking date or the appointment date to determine validity. Booking before the deadline may not be enough if the actual visit takes place after it.
Check the exact end date, eligible period and whether the campaign may end without notice. Save the coupon screen and reservation confirmation.
8. Usage limit
Conditions such as “once per person” or “once during the campaign” may apply. If you have used the coupon before, confirm whether it can be used again.
For a group reservation, also check whether the coupon applies to every customer or only to the person making the booking.
9. Changes and cancellations
Changing the appointment time or course may invalidate the coupon. Whether the same coupon can be used after cancelling and rebooking depends on the salon.

10. Current official information
Coupons shown in search results, reviews or old social-media posts may have expired. Give priority to the latest information on the salon's official website, official booking system or authorized listing service.
A saved image does not guarantee that the same terms still apply. Contact the salon through its official channel when a condition is unclear.
A booking message you can use
Hello. I would like to book the [course name] on [date and time]. Can I use the “[coupon name]” coupon? Please confirm the final price including any additional fees and tell me what I need to do to claim the discount. Thank you.
Include the coupon name, preferred time and course so the salon can check the correct conditions.
