How are men's relaxation prices set in Japan?

Check the official websites of three to five salons near the area you plan to visit. Compare courses with similar lengths and clearly described services.

5. Recheck unusually low or high prices and their conditions.

Comparing course lengths

The best course depends on your available time, budget and the salon's stated treatment scope.

• Around 60 minutes: easier to fit into a first visit or a limited schedule
• Around 90 minutes: often considered when more time is preferred
• Around 120 minutes: suitable when the customer has enough time and understands the service
• 150 minutes or more: may have additional booking or nomination conditions

The displayed duration may not consist entirely of treatment time. Reception, consultation, changing clothes or shower time may be handled differently by each salon.

Prices can also vary between daytime and late-hour appointments, even when the course description appears similar.

What optional treatments may be offered?

Some salons offer optional menus that can be added to the base course. The names are not standardized, and two salons may use the same name for different treatment scopes.

These are examples of prices displayed by some businesses, not nationwide market rates. An option may be included for free, use a unique salon name or cost considerably more.

Terms such as “deep lymph” or a branded specialty-oil name do not explain the full treatment by themselves. Ask what product is used, which areas are included and whether the option uses part of the booked course time. Fleeting Heaven covers general relaxation only. Before selecting an option

Options are generally optional. A first-time visitor does not need to add one simply because it is suggested.

• Ask for a clear description of the option.

• Ask for the tax-inclusive additional price.
• Confirm that the selected therapist offers it.
• Check whether it can be declined or changed on the day.

Check the conditions behind an advertised discount:

• Is it limited to first-time customers?
• Which courses and appointment times are eligible?
• Are nomination and transportation fees excluded?
• Can it be combined with another coupon or point program?
• Must the campaign name be mentioned when booking?
• What is the regular price after the first visit?
